Pond Heater?

I just started an outdoor pond. The pond is only 100 gallon and has 10 goldfish in it. There is a good water pump/fountain in it, but i think i will need a heater in winter. I live in kansas and temps get down to 0 in winter. If i do get a heater i would like it to be powerful enought to heat the pond to 60-65 degrees. What kind of wattage heater do I need?
Thank you!

As long as the pond does not freeze over, goldfish should be fine in a pond. There are floating pond de-icers available. That is all I would bother to get. I have a cichlid pond and it got down to 40 every night for at least 2 months straight, and no heater, no fish deaths.
If I were you, don’t make it too hot for your fish to get killed from the heat. Get the temperature around… lets say 40 degrees (i think) just make sure it’s not too hot. Another option is to move them into the house for and near a heater in your house but make sure to remember to not put it too near to the heater. Put it like on a nearby table. Good Luck
Certainly you can ensure to keep the pond warm for the water nymphs during winter. Only y ou will have to ensure that the heater is of the required strength.
It takes 1000 watts to add 10° for every 250 gallons of water. Use this formula to determine the size of heater you need below. For example, say your water is 45°F and you have a 250 gallon tank. If you would like to keep your water at 75°F, then you would need 3000 watts to heat your water to 75°F
