I have an outdoor 3 tier fountain made out of a resin material. Can I put chlorine in the water to keep it from getting algea or will it harm the pump??

it shouldnt harm the pump but it might harm or eat the resin in the actual fountain…. algae should not be a problem if the water is moving… its just if the water stops.. good luck!
Since the water will be moving, algea shouldn’t be much of a problem, but a little chlorine shouldn’t harm your pump.
You can use about a cap full of bleach per gallon of water
