Did not work
I don’t understand all these positive reviews. I took this pump out into extremely bright direct sun and the water coming out of the pump just weakly pulsed – about 1 inch high…

I bought this pump to work in a little ceramic bowl. Live in NM where we get plenty of sunshine. The pump hardly makes any ripples in the water and even after sitting in the sun…

Useless piece of junk
Pump weak pulsed in 84 degree bright Arizona sunshine at an elevation of 5100 feet. Could not raise water even 8″!. A waste of time , money and energy …China mfg of course!

Worked for 2 minutes
This is a very disappointing item. It worked fine for about 2 minutes then completely died. The attachment of the solar panel to the ground spike is very unprofessionally done…

Even less than you’d expect
I own several different models of solar pumps that use around the garden. I thought I’d try this one. It’s pretty pathethic.

Junk
It worked for about 30 minutes. The solar panel developed a small crack from one corner. It spread to opposite corner and quit working..

This is a good little fountain
, and it does just what the description said it would. Turns on only with direct sun on the panel.

I am not sure it would push water 18 inches as claimed, maybe 6". Entertaining but not real practical, even for a bird bath, let alone a pond.
