The Fontana di Trevi or Trevi Fountain is an amazing breathtaking fountain that combines both architectural and artistic knowledge. It is a most well-known and spectacular fountain in Rome, Italy. It is located in the rione of Trevi in the Quirinale district. It gained its name from its position at the junction of three roads. Trevi fountain is a fabulous work of art that is much more than a mere sculpture.

It is the major baroque fountain in Rome. It is around 25.9 meters (85 feet) high and’.8 meters (65 feet) wide. It is a distinctive example of art with fantastic creatures personified on it. The fountain is the terminal part of the Vergine aqueduct built by Agrippa, a general of Augustus, in’ B.C. to bring the water coming from the Salone springs to Rome. The construction of this fountain was started in 1732 and it was finally completed in 1762.
